ABOUT JOSEPH MARC PHOTOGRAPHY

When photographing wildlife, nature, and landscapes, I try to focus on freezing the briefest of moments. My goal is to capture motion, the flashing eye contact with an animal or bird, the light in an eye, the transient light at dawn and dusk, and moments that happen so fast they can't be easily seen by the naked eye.  The more I photograph and observe wildlife the more I am convinced that not only do animals have emotions and feelings, but that we can also learn a lot from them. I strive to capture these moments by  taking people closer to better see the detail, color and spirit of these wild animals. All of these aspects help to show the beauty and might of the world God gave to us and provide a lasting impression that fosters a wonder and enthusiasm encouraging exploration the world around us.  I am sure that when we live in the concrete jungles of cities and feel a yearning for a better life, it is really God calling us back to the freedom and wonder of nature and the world He gave us. My message is: “ Let us wonder at nature and do everything we can to hang on to it."
