Sept. 2025 Lamar Valley/Bearthooth Pass/Yellowstone Fall/Summer Workshop
Join me as we embark on an unforgettable journey through the breathtaking landscapes of Lamar Valley, affectionately dubbed the "American Serengeti" for its incredible wildlife population. As we venture into this pristine wilderness, we will not only witness the majesty of bison grazing against a backdrop of rolling hills but also try to find the elusive wolves as they roam through the wilderness. The valley's sprawling meadows and crystal-clear streams provide a perfect setting for capturing stunning photographs, each snapshot telling the story of the delicate balance between nature and the creatures that inhabit it. From the early morning mist rising off the landscape to the vibrant hues of sunset painting the sky, Lamar Valley truly offers a photographer’s paradise teeming with life.
During this workshop we will also explore the scenic Beartooth Highway, often hailed as the most beautiful roadway in America. This spectacular route winds through rugged mountains, alpine meadows, and glistening lakes, providing jaw-dropping vistas at every turn. As we drive along this scenic byway, the camera will be our constant companion, capturing the enchanting landscapes that unfold before us. The towering peaks, that blend seamlessly with the expansive blue sky, invite us to stop and take in their grandeur. Whether it's the delicate wildflowers that peek through rocky crevices or the distant snow-capped summits, each moment along the Beartooth Highway offers a new opportunity for stunning photography and unrivaled appreciation of nature's artistry. Together, we will create lasting memories and captivating images that reflect the wild beauty of Yellowstone and its surrounding wilderness.
