Whether you're a novice eager to master the basics of nature photography, an intermediate photographer aiming to sharpen your skills, or an experienced professional in need of a guide, I am confident that I can surpass your expectations. With many years exploring wilderness areas with a camera in hand, I bring a wealth of experience and knowledge. My deep-rooted passion for wildlife and nature, combined with love of photography, allows me to provide a unique and enriching experience. My teaching philosophy emphasizes not only enhancing your camera skills, compositional techniques, and creative vision, but also fostering a deeper understanding of your subjects and their habitats.

Depending on your level of expertise, some of my goals for you in your workshop might be to:

Increase your confidence in using a camera. Improve consistency in your ability to make sharp, properly-exposed images in a variety of photographic situations.
Help you to recognize good photographic situations and take advantage of them
Work with you on post-processing techniques that can dramatically improve the impact your final image.

Rates:

4 Hour Photo Workshop $500 (Morning or Evening)
- We'll start about an hour before sunrise or a few hours before sunset and be out in the field for about five hours, returning you back to town before lunch or just after sunset. Price includes you and one guest.
8 Hour Split-Day Photo Workshop (4-hour sunrise session, then mid-day break, then 4-hour sunset session) $799.
- We'll get started about an hour before sunrise and be out in the field for about 4 hours, then take a mid-day break, then go back out for about 4 hours at sunset. Price includes you and one guest.

If you would like to spread the workshop out over multiple days let me know, and I will do my best to meet your needs.

Pricing includes up to two people. I am unable to accommodate more than two people - and all of our photo gear - in the vehicle.
(Pricing may vary depending on driving distances and accommodations.)

All bookings require a $400 non-refundable deposit. Payment in full is due two weeks prior to the scheduled trip (I’ll send another invoice for that later).
